7th May 2011                     Relaxing Outside This Summer
With Easter now just a distant memory and no more Easter eggs anywhere to be found (no matter how much I search in the back of my cupboards) attention is starting to turn towards the coming summer season here in Fréjus. Garden centres are blooming with customers as well as flowers as we all set about making our gardens and terraces look beautiful. Of course, this is where we will spend most of our time when we are relaxing, socialising and eating. That is the Mediterranean way of living. Balmy evenings outside with friends sharing a bottle or three of Rosé wine, is a typical sight around the villas and mobile homes. It all just seems a lifetime away from the rat race that I used to be part of. The end of the day used to mean an evening inside, watching television and talking to no-one….except to ask, “Are you ready to eat yet” and “What is on ITV?”
So what are you waiting for? Come and experience the social life of self catering  holidays here in the South of France. The flowers are looking exotic, the wine and food is delicious and the company……well, they’re all pretty carefree and relaxed. Whilst on holiday here they have no reason not to be!
